DTA Offering Free Rides on Election Day

The Duluth Transit Authority will be offering free rides for Election day on Tuesday, November 3.

It’s all part of an effort to get passengers out to the polls.

STRIDE service and passengers boarding DTA Routes 16 and 17 in Superior will not be offered free fares.

However, passengers who ride Route 16 in Duluth heading to Superior can ride for free.

State legislation was passed in 2013 to give voters access to free transportation to polling places.
