Police: Alcohol a Factor in Chester Creek Death
The St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office says alcohol was a factor in the death of a man found in Chester Creek over the weekend.
Police say 22-year-old Kyle Noble, of Baudette, died as a result of an accidental fall and head trauma.
Noble, a student at the University of Minnesota-Duluth, was last seen around 2:00 a.m. on October 31.
Police say Noble left a family members house and was walking the trails along Chester Creek to get home, when it appears he slipped, falling approximately 75 feet into Chester Creek.
The St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office does not suspect foul play.
Autopsy results are still pending, however, police say it appears alcohol was a factor in the death and he died as a result of head trauma from the accidental fall.
The incident remains under investigation by the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office.
