Duluth Mayoral Candidate Urges Voters to Head to Polls

Election day in Duluth is less than 24 hours away.

Monday night we gave the candidates running for Mayor one last chance to speak out.

Emily Larson is the president of the City Council.

She’s campaigning on housing, economic development and improving infrastructure.

Her opponent Chuck Horton is a business owner and boxing promoter, who has been highly critical of the current Duluth government.

Horton’s campaign is focused on tackling crime and drugs.

Meanwhile, Larson says it’s important to get and vote.

“Every single vote matters. I know that.  Every single vote matters. People are deciding. There are still people deciding who they’re going to vote for,” said Larson.

Fox 21 reached out to Horton for an interview, but did not hear back by news time.
