Authorities have arrested a Cass Lake man in connection to a bank robbery Thursday. 

The Leech Lake Tribal Police Department responded to the Western Bank around 9:30 Thursday morning on reports of a suspicious male in the bank, causing a disturbance. 

When police arrived, the 26-year-old man was leaving the area of the bank.  

He took off running and police pursued him on foot. 

The man was arrested a short time later. 

Police say the man took an undisclosed amount of money from the bank. 

He is being held at the Cass County Detention Center pending formal charges.
