Duluth Police Arrest Car Prowler

Duluth Police arrested a man for car prowling after catching him in the act on Saturday. 

Police responded to the area of 8th Avenue East and 4th Street around 1:30 Saturday morning on reports of a vehicle prowl in progress. 

When authorities arrived,  the found 29-year-old Nicholas Pincombe inside of a car with stolen items in his possession. 

Pinecombe was transported to the St. Louis County Jail and is being held on two counts of motor vehicle tampering, 4th degree criminal damage to property and theft. 

He has a lengthy criminal record including prior convictions of tampering with a motor vehicle, theft of movable property, receiving stolen property, and damage to property along with several theft charges.
