Hibbing Police Arrest Car Prowler

Hibbing Police have arrested a 24-year-old man in connection to several car prowling incidents. 

Police say they have received over 30 reports of motor vehicle tampering and over 22 reports of Criminal Damage to vehicles over the last several days. 

On Tuesday, authorities executed a search warrant in the 2600 block of 3rd Avenue West relating to the incidents. 

Police say several stolen items were located, and a 24-year-old man was taken into custody. 

The suspect is expected to be charged with several counts of Criminal Damage to property and Motor Vehicle Tampering, Possession of Stolen Property, Persons Prohibited to Possess Firearms and Sales and Possession of Controlled substances. 

Police are continuing to investigate, but say other arrests may be pending.
