Man Dies in Itasca County Vehicle Rollover

A Grand Rapids man died Friday after rolling his car.

Police responded to the rollover on Shadywood Road, south of Grand Rapids just before midnight. 

25-year-old Barron Cottingham was airlifted to Duluth, where he later died of his injuries. 

Police say Cottingham was not wearing a seatbelt. 

The crash remains under investigation by the Minnesota State Patrol and Itasca County Sheriff’s Office.
