Police Locate Missing Duluth Boy

Duluth Police have located three boys who left the Northwoods Children’s Services West Duluth campus on Tuesday. 

Authorities were called around 3:10 Wednesday afternoon to the area of Haines Road and Portland Road after receiving information that 13-year-old Jonathan Beckman, who was reported missing Wednesday, and two others were walking North of Haines Road. 

Police arrived and located Beckman and the two others who took off from the Northwoods Campus West Facility. 

Police were concerned for Beckman’s safety after his mother said he had been diagnosed with Autism along with a conduct behavior and was in need of medication. 

The three boys are safe and have been brought back to Northwoods.
