Community members gathered today to create their own gingerbread creations to add to the city. Those who want to contribute are encouraged to bring their creations to Norway Hall, Sunday between 1–3.

The town will then be put on display until Dec 15 to spread warmth and community in Duluth.

“It’s community building, it’s sharing a cultural tradition. You don’t have to be Norwegian. Just come in learn about it, make it, enjoy it and maybe make your own next year,” said Allison Auni, Art Director.

The town is expected to feature over 200 houses. in previous years they’ve even had someone build a lift bridge for the town.
