Duluth Man Charged with Possession of Stolen Firearm and Drugs

A Duluth man was arrested and charged last week after police found a stolen firearm and meth during a traffic stop. 

Police responded to the 3300 block of Restormel Street on Tuesday, November 10 around 9:45 p.m. on reports of a suspicious vehicle. 

Police say the vehicle was reported stolen.  

They stopped the car and arrested the driver, 23-year-old Forrest Michael St. John. 

During a search, police recovered a stolen firearm and approximately 60 grams of methamphetamine. 

St. John was arrested and charged in St. Louis County Court on 1st Degree possession of a Controlled Substance and Felon in Possession of a Firearm. 

St. John has a long criminal and violent criminal history, including convictions of 2nd degree burglary, terroristic threats, and felony assault.
