Ski Hut Anxious For Winter Blast, Uptick In Business
With colder temperatures approaching, a popular local ski shop is looking forward to finally getting back to business as usual for this time of year.
Workers at Duluth’s Ski Hut say it’s been stuck like everyone else in a weird transition period, where people don’t know if they should ski or go ride a bike.
But the thought of not having a winter has not even crossed their minds.
“Even if we don’t get real snow spirit mountain still makes their own snow, so there will be skiing. it’s just a matter of maybe we can only ski at the resort this year and less in the woods,” said Jerod Munch, salesman at Ski Hut.
Ski Hut normally has most of their skis sold by now, but that hasn’t been the case this year.
With this weekend cooling down, customers and the workers at the Ski Hut are excited to get this season going.
