Body of Missing Woman Found in Pine County
Authorities have found the body of a missing Minneapolis woman in Pine County.
The Pine County Sheriff’s Office says an officer found the body of 53-year-old Maria Mofti in a drainage ditch in Bremen Township on Tuesday.
Police say foul play is not suspected.
Mofti was last seen on the night of November 4 leaving her ex-husband’s home in Bremen Township on foot. She was reported missing on Monday.
The cause of death has yet to be determined, however foul play is not suspected.
The case remains under investigation pending toxicology results from the autopsy.
