Jared Fogle sentenced to 15 years on Child Porn Charges

Former Subway spokesman Jared Fogle will spend the next 15 years behind bars on child porn charges.

Fogle pleaded guilty in August to one count of traveling to engage in illicit sexual conduct with a minor and distribution and receipt of child pornography.

Prosecutors sought a 12 year sentence, while Fogle’s attorneys were seeking five years behind bars.

The judge sentenced him to 15 years and 8 months.

Fogle admitted to paying for sex with girls as young as 16 and receiving child porn produced by the former director of his charitable foundation.

He has agreed to pay his 14 victims $100,000 each in restitution.

In court Thursday, Fogle told the judge that he regrets his actions that destroyed his career, his life and harmed his victims.

Fogle pledged to be a better man and father when he gets out of prison.
