One Injured in Itasca County Rollover

One person was injured after their vehicle rolled in Itasca County Wednesday morning. 

Authorities responded to the accident on Highway 2 and Bluebird Drive just after 8 Wednesday morning. 

They say a Suzuki was traveling westbound on Highway 2 when it left the road, went into the ditch and rolled. 

26-year-old Brandon Burthwick of Wawina, Minnesota was taken to Grand Itasca Hospital in Grand Rapids with non-life threatening injuries. 

The Minnesota State Patrol says roads were icy at the time of the accident. 

Alcohol is not believed to be a factor. 

The accident remains under investigation.
