DTA Offering Free Rides to the DECC on Thanksgiving

For the 26th year, the Duluth Transit Authority is offering free rides to the DECC on Thanksgiving Day.

The DTA is partnering with the College of St. Scholastica and National Bank of Commerce to offer the free fares.

The Thanksgiving Holiday service features two special shuttle buses: “Turkey Bus 1” and “Turkey Bus 2” .  The buses will transport passengers to the DECC from selected sites throughout the Twin Ports.   Passengers should look for “Turkey Bus 1” and “Turkey Bus 2” in the destination signs on the bus.

The shuttles will operate between the DECC and the DTA’s downtown transit center.  In addition,  they will operate from the Damiano Center and CHUM in Duluth and Royalton Manon, 14th and Tower, Clifford Lund and Solid Rock Mission in Superior.

The annual Thanksgiving Day buffet will run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the DECC.

The event is free and open to the public.
