Superior Geography Night

Superior Middle School Students Tackle Geography

Superior Middle School held it’s 3rd Annual Georgraphy Literacy Night, Thursday.

The event focused on educating students about geography and social studies outside of the class room.

Students in attendance participated in geography themed games and activities.

18 of the nearly 50 students participated in the championship of the schools geography bee.

Seventh grade social studies teacher Amanda Crooks said learning about geography is important for students.

Crooks noted that it is especially important, in light of the recent events in africa, europe and the middle east, for students to know where the things they see on the news are happening.
