Children Get Chance to Decorate Downtown Windows

Local Artist Guides Kids Artistic Expression

Duluth artist Adam Swanson spent part of his week decorating a large window in the Zeitgeist Arts Building.

Saturday, he spent his day teaching children to do the same.

Several kids got the chance to draw and paint a holiday scene on an unfinished window with Swanson.

The artist says teaching the kids helps him explore his own creativity and rething his own process.

Swanson added that the experience gave kids a chance to express themselves and have fun in a safe environment right downtown.
