UPDATE: Four Officers Injured in Shooting at Colorado Planned Parenthood

Police in Colorado Springs say officers are actively exchanging gunfire with a shooter inside of a Planned Parenthood Clinic. 

At least nine people have been transported to local hospitals. 

Police say four police officers are among the many injured in the shooting. 

The condition of the officers is unknown at this time. 

Witnesses reported hearing as many as 20 shots in less than five minutes. 

Colorado Springs Police say that the incident started at the City’s Centennial Boulevard. 

Police are urging people to avoid Centennial Boulevard. 

Those already in that area are being asked to stay put in nearby stores because the area is not secure. 

It’s unknown at this time whether the incident has anything to do with the Planned Parenthood organization.
