Volunteers Needed to Search for Missing St. Cloud College Student

Police and the family of a missing college student are seeking volunteers to help search for the man. 

The Wright County Sheriff’s Office is conducting a foot search Friday in and around the Monticello area. 

24-year-old Tyler Berg, of St. Cloud was last seen leaving his home the night of November 22. 

According to authorities, Berg’s car, a black Mercury Cougar, was found abandoned near Otter Creek Park in the City of Monticello on the morning of November 23. 

Clothing believed to have belonged to Berg was discovered in Otter Creek Park and the Monticello Country Club golf course. 

Police and Berg’s family are conducting a ground search on foot starting Friday.  Volunteers are asked to register at the Monticello Community Center. 

Searches will take place daily from 9:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
