Duluth Man Arrested, Charged for Stealing Car

A Duluth man with an extensive criminal history is in trouble with the law again after allegedly stealing a car. 

Duluth Police responded to the area of the 2900 block of Getchell Road on November 27 around 6:50 p.m. on reports of a motor vehicle theft. 

Later in the day officers located the reported stolen vehicle in the area of the 200 East block of 2nd Street with a man in the driver’s seat. 

The man, later identified as 32-year-old Peter Herbert Dahl, was arrested and charged with motor vehicle theft. 

Dahl has a lengthy criminal history, including convictions of theft, burglary, assault and robbery.
