Eveleth Police Seeking Suspect in Car Parts Theft

The Eveleth Police Department is seeking the public’s help in tracking down the person or persons responsible for stealing car parts off a vehicle on private property. 

Police responded to the theft report on Monday on private property in Fayal Township. 

Authorities say two front doors, the hood, trunk lid and driver’s side tail light were stolen off of a black 1957 Chevy. 

The owner of the vehicle is terminally ill and planned on selling the car to cover medical costs. 

The vehicle was yellow prior to being black, so the door jams should have some yellow paint on them.
