LSS Asks For People to Donate Diapers During December

Diaper Drive Looks To Bring in 40,000 Diapers

Tonight Northland families need your help with a serious diaper shortage. As many as one in three families experience the need. Diapers can cost up to 173 dollars a month for a family with a baby.

That’s why Lutheran Social Services Crisis Nursery is hosting a diaper drive in December.

“We figured last year within the calendar year that we had close to 560 some visits of families that come in and most families pick up diapers,” said Cathy Bergh, Director.

Diapers, sizes four, five and six are the big ones in demand. LSS hopes to collect 40 thousand diapers.
