Medical Examiner: Body is Missing St. Cloud College Student

A body found Sunday in a marsh in Monticello, Minnesota is that of missing St. Cloud college student Tyler Berg. 

Searchers found Berg’s body Sunday afternoon in a marsh south of Interstate 94. 

Berg was last seen leaving his home the night of November 22. 

According to authorities, Berg’s car, a black Mercury Cougar, was found abandoned near Otter Creek Park in the City of Monticello on the morning of November 23. 

Clothing believed to have belonged to Berg was discovered in Otter Creek Park and the Monticello County Golf Course. 

The circumstances surrounding Berg’s death are still under investigation by the Wright County Sheriff’s Office and the Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office.
