One Injured in Duluth Car Crash

One person was injured following a two-car crash in Duluth Wednesday.

The Duluth Police Department responded near the intersection of 21st Avenue East and London Road on reports of an accident with injuries around 1:30 Wednesday afternoon. 

Authorities say a 70-year-old male driver was attempting to make a left turn after exiting I-35 when he was rear-ended by a 57-year-old woman.  Police believe the woman may have been experiencing a medical issue when she hit him.  

The 57-year-old woman was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. 

The incident remains under investigation.
