Police Seeking Help Finding Suspect in Minneapolis Beating Death

The Minneapolis Police Department is seeking help from the public in locating the person or persons responsible for the beating death of a 30-year-old woman. 

Police responded to reports of “one down” in the early morning hours of September 3 on East Lake Street and 12th Avenue South. 

When officers arrived, they found Rebecca Anderson severely beaten and unconscious. 

Anderson died of her injuries on November 26, nearly two months after the beating. 

The Ramsey County Medical Examiner has ruled her death a homicide. 

This is the second time Minneapolis Police have asked for the public’s help in this case.  

A cash reward is being offered for any information leading to an arrest and conviction in the murder.
