UPDATE: Chris Young Concert Rescheduled for January

The Chris Young concert scheduled for tonight in Duluth has been rescheduled for January 9. 

The country star is battling strep throat and was forced to postpone shows in Duluth, Rochester and Green Bay. 

The singer said on Twitter that he has been advised by doctors that he cannot perform tonight.

All previously purchased tickets will be honored at the January 9th show. 

For those who cannot make the rescheduled date, refunds will be available at the point of purchase. 

Friday night’s show in Rochester has been rescheduled for January 8.  Young’s Saturday night show in Green Bay has been rescheduled for January 7. 

Openers Eric Paslay and Clare Dunn will return for the rescheduled shows. 

“I never want to disappoint you guys but I don’t have a choice due to strep throat,” said Young, “I’m looking forward to the rescheduled shows, and I can promise you we’ll have a big night when I’m back in January!”
