Electrical Fire Causes $30,000 in Damage

The Duluth Fire Department put out a fire at 1225 East 6th Street Thursday night.

Firefighters responded to a report of a resident smelling smoke around 8:30 p.m.

The fire was found on the third floor of the three-apartment building.

It was quickly put out and all residents are safe.

Authorities believe this was an electrical fire.

Damage is estimated to be $30,000.
