Active Adventures: Cross-Country Skiing Season
For this week’s active adventures we did exercises to get ready for cross-country skiing.
Eve Graves teaches Cross Training 101.
Graves only takes beginners for this class and says she likes to get people out enjoying winter.
Graves showed William some exercises you can do to make sure your body is ready for the ski season.
-Bend over and swing arms back and forth
-Classic bounding: leap from one leg to another
-Oil Rig: extended arm and leg and then bend over
-Balance with one leg at a 90 degree angle
-Grapevine: Cross leg over one another and leap
-Johnny Jump: knee-high jumps while raising arms
