148th Fighter Wing to Conduct Night Flying

The 148th Fighter Wing will be conducting night flying training sessions over the next week.

Residents living in the Twin Ports will hear F-16’s taking off and landing during the afternoon and evening.

All F-16’s are expected to be grounded by 10:30 p.m.

The training will run through December 17.

“Periodic night flying allows 148th personnel to accomplish required training and practice critical tactics during times of darkness,” said 148th Fighter Wing Executive Officer, Capt. Jodi Kiminski.
