Mayor Ness to say “Thank You Duluth” with Final Address and Concert
Duluth Mayor Don Ness is marking the end of his mayoral career with a final address and concert celebration.
Ness is hosting the “Thank You Duluth!” event at the DECC’s Symphony Hall on Wednesday, December 16 from 7 to 9 p.m.
The event will include music from Dave Simonett of Trampled by Turtles, Alan Sparhawk and Gaelynn Lea (The Murder of Crows, Sarah Lawrence, Sara Thomsen, Sarah Krueger, Jerree Small and Charlie Parr.
Ness will also deliver his final major address as Mayor- a thank you to the community.
Doors open at 6:30 for the event.
Mayor Ness is asking the public to arrive at least 10-15 minutes early. The program will start right at 7 p.m.
The event is free and open to the public, however, donations will be accepted to help pay for the space, sound and the musicians.
Ness is also seeking volunteers to help before and after the show.
