Quick Workout Keeps You Fit During the Busy Holidays
Active Adventures: Tabata Workout
For this week’s Active Adventures, FOX 21’s William Seay did a Tabata workout at Evolve Duluth.
This method of exercising is a short-interval, high-intensity workout.
Jess Rossing, with Evolve Duluth, says this is perfect for when you’re busy during the holiday season.
She also says it increases your basal metabolic rate.
“It’s going to be 20 seconds on with a 10 second rest. You can do a 3 to 4 minute set, or you can do a HIIT, which is high-intensity interval training. You can really get creative with it, whether you want to a minute on, 30 seconds off, 30 seconds on, 15 seconds off,” explained Rossing.
Evolve Duluth is located in the basement of Tycoons and you can enter from the Michigan Street entrance: 132 E Superior St., Duluth, MN 55812.
You can call at 612-408-9453, or email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
