New Preschool Program Educates Kids Outdoors
Coffee Conversation: Lil' Park PEEPS
A new preschool program is starting up at Jay Cooke State Park.
Lil’ Park PEEPS is a program for preschool age children (ages 2-5) to learn through engaging in songs, stories, hands-on activities and outdoor exploration.
PEEPS is actually an acronym for Park Environmental Education Program Series.
Lil’ Park PEEPS is the first Thursday of every month at 10:30 a.m.
The next program is Thursday, January 7 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
The January program focuses on snow and the animals that live in it.
