Traffic Advisory: Maurices Construction to Shut Down Roads Thursday

Some roads in downtown Duluth will close Wednesday to accommodate a crane used for construction of the new Maurices Headquarters. 

Contractors will be using a crane to lift materials to the upper levels of the 11-story building. 

The work will require some road closures during this time. 

From 8:30 a.m. to noon, 4th Avenue West between Superior Street and the 1st Street Alley will be shut down.  

Then from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., 5th Avenue West Northbound from Superior to the 1st Street Alley will be closed. 

Construction is still on schedule to be completed in spring of 2016.
