Salvation Army Helps Families in Need with Toy, Food Drive
Whether it’s needing food or toys for the holiday season, every year families turn to the Salvation Army for help.
Volunteers from around the city of Duluth came together Wednesday to help the Salvation Army with their annual food and toy distribution for families in need.
“Well it’s kind of a distribution center for the Salvation Army, so you’ve got toys and gifts and so on that are being distributed along with these boxes of food,” said Volunteer John Heino.
Between 80 and 100 families are served an hour and there will be between thirty to fifty volunteers available to help.
