Pedestrian Killed Crossing A Parking Lot

Driver arrested on suspicion of being under the influence.

 The police responded at 4:17 to the area of Grand avenue and Main street where a person was hit by a vehicle. The 37 year old male victim while crossing a parking lot on the south side of grand avenue when he was hit. The car was driven by a 27 year old male driver.  The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance.  Charges will be determined pending the outcome of the investigation.
