Police Investigating after Body Found in Car Pulled from Roseville Lake

Authorities are investigating after a woman’s body was found inside of a submerged car pulled from Lake Josephine in Roseville, Minnesota. 

The Ramsey County Water Patrol and Dive Team recovered the body around 1 p.m Sunday after the vehicle was seen under the ice about 75 feet from a boat launch. 

The vehicle matches the description of a car that belongs to a 64-year-old woman who was reported missing from Shoreview last weekend. 

Police declined to say whether the body is that of the missing woman. 

An autopsy is being conducted by the Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office.
