Knowing Your Neighbors: BoomTown

Restaurant Themed Around Fire and Bourbon

There’s a new restaurant up on the Iron Range with familiar owners and an experienced chef.

BoomTown is the brainchild of Iron Range restauranteurs Jessica Antonovich-Lietz and Erik Lietz.

The couple also own The Whistling Bird in Gilbert.

Themed around fire and bourbon, the menu was designed by the Lietz’ and their executive chef, Dan Schimka.

Schimka brings more than 20 years experience in the kitchen to BoomTown.

The menu features scotch eggs, pulled duck, and lamb among the appetizers.

Steaks, Ribs, and Pasta fill the entree list.

If you’re thirsty, the bar features 18 beers on tap, and a wide selection of whiskeys.

BoomTown is located at 501 Hat Trick Avenue in Eveleth.
