Superior Man Sentenced for Striking Woman with Car

Man Gets Sentence for Hitting a Woman with his Car

A Superior man will be spending the next 10 and a half years in prison.

Thirty–four year old Travis Howes got his sentence Tuesday for intentionally running over a woman in a Superior alley last January.

For the charge of first degree recklessly endangering safety Howes was sentenced to seven years and six months in prison.

He was also ordered to serve five years of extended supervision.

For the charge of aggravated battery he got the sentence of three years in prison and three years of extended supervision.

That part of the sentence was ordered to be served after he completes his sentence for first degree recklessly endangering safety.

For the charges of resisting an officer and operating while revoked he got sentences of nine months each in jail, which he will serve at the same time he’s serving his sentence for his first charge.

Part of his sentence also requires that he have no contact with his victim.
