Two Injured in Two-car Crash

Two people were taken to the hospital following a two-car crash in Duluth Wednesday morning.

Police responded to the intersection of Central Entrance and Joshua Avenue on reports of an accident with injuries around 11:15 Wednesday morning.

When officers arrived, they determined the traffic signals at the intersection were being worked on and were out for a period of time.

Police say a Buick traveling northbound on Central Entrance collided with a Toyota Camry making a left turn from the southbound lane of Central Entrance.

The impact of the Buick hitting Camry caused the camry to hit the car next to it also making a left turn.

A 79-year-old woman, who was a passenger in the Camry, and the 23-year-old driver of the Buick were taken to the hospital.

The incident remains under investigation.
