Duluth East Students Show Off Cooking Skills

Cooking Connection: Fried Rice

For this week’s Cooking Connection, we went into the kitchen with students at Duluth East.

A program called “Food For Thought Restaurant” gives students the chance to learn about the food service industry.

There are three classes: Introduction to Foods, Classical Line Cooking, and Classical Cooking.

There is also a waiter/waitress program.

If you’re interested in trying it out, Food For Thought only accepts reservations 24 hours before your visit because your order becomes the lesson plan for the next day.

The reservation line is 218-336-8845 Extension 4055.

You can find out more information and view the menu on the Duluth East website
