No Ice on Water at Sea Caves Near Bayfield
Currently a highly visited winter tourist attraction isn’t accessible.
No ice has formed at the caves near Bayfield.
According to the Apostle Islands National Lake Shore, the water is open at Meyers Beach.
They say it takes a couple weeks of below zero temperatures for them to form and it’s usually a late winter event that happens towards the end of February.
So right now although it appears doubtful they will happen it’s still too early to know for sure.
