Powerball Jackpot Climbs to $1.4 Billion

The Powerball jackpot has climbed to $1.4 billion, and is expected to grow. 

The prize was already the world’s largest before lottery officials increased it from $1.3 to $1.4 billion on Monday. 

The jackpot could grow before Wednesday’s drawing if ticket sales remain as high as they are.  

Officials review the estimate daily. 

No one matched all six Powerball numbers Saturday night, leading to the massive jackpot. 

The odds of winning the Powerball are one in 292.2 million.
