Fourth Lawsuit Filed against Children’s Theatre Company

A fourth civil lawsuit was filed Tuesday against the Children’s Threatre Company in Minneapolis. 

Jeff Anderson and Associates filed the lawsuit on behalf of Jeanette Simmonds in Hennepin County District Court. 

Simmonds claims she was sexually abused in 1983 by former Children’s Theatre employee Stephen Adamczak when she was a student at the theatre.

The lawsuit is the fourth filed against the Children’s Theatre since December of 2015. 

Survivors of sexual abuse have until May 25, 2016 to file a claim under the Child Victims Act.
