Man Arrested, Charged in Duluth Burglary

A 34-year-old man has been charged in connection to a burglary in Duluth on Saturday. 

Colin James Gantz was charged in St. Louis County District Court with 3rd Degree Burglary and providing a false name to police. 

The charges stem from an incident on January 9. 

Police responded to an alarm at the Northland County Club around 1:30 a.m. 

When officers arrived at the scene, they conducted a building search to make sure no one was inside.  

Police located Gantz in the area. 

Gantz allegedly admitted to entering the building and had stolen items in his possession.  

Gantz has an extensive criminal history and has been convicted on two counts of felony theft of a motor vehicle, multiple thefts and traffic violations.
