Early Morning Fire in Superior

1819 Tower Avenue

Tuesday morning at 3:37 a.m., the Superior Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire at 1819 Tower Ave.

When fire crews arrived they found a two story single family home with fire in a second floor bedroom that had also extended into the attic.

The occupants were reported to be out of the building.

Crews were able to make a rapid attack and extinguish the fire quickly.

Two dogs and a cat were located inside the structure and returned to the home’s occupants unharmed.

There were no injuries reported.

Nine Fire Fighters and one Battalion Chief responded.

Damage is estimated at $10,000.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
