Two Northland Cities in the Running for Best Midwest Town

Two cities in the Northland are in the running for the “Greatest Midwest Town”. 

Duluth and Bayfield, Wisconsin were chosen by Midwest Living Magazine, along with ten other towns in the Midwest.

Duluth currently has 3,360 votes, while Bayfield has 840 votes.   Traverse City, Michigan has the most votes at 6,826. 

Voting ends February 29. 

You can vote daily for your favorite town. 

This is the second time Duluth has been in a competition for best town.  

Outside Magazine named Duluth “Best town Ever” in 2014.  Duluth beat out Provo, Utah by more than 10,000 votes.
