Ely Man Injured in Snowmobile Accident

The St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office responded to a snowmobile accident that occurred on Beaver River in Morse Township about 10 miles Northwest of Babbitt. 

Joshua Forsman, 34, was operating his snowmobile along with three others on the river when he was ejected from the snowmobile after it struck a rock. 

Forsman was transported by the Ely ambulance to the Ely-Bloomenson community hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
