Man Arrested, Charged in Duluth Burglary

A 41-year-old man has been charged in connection to a burglary in Duluth on Friday.

Patrick James Buen was charged with 2nd Degree Burglary, receiving stolen property and giving a false name to police.

The charges stem from an incident on January 22 when police responded to the area of the 400 North block of 77th Avenue West on reports of a burglary.

Police investigated the incident and developed a list of stolen items.

As authorities were leaving the home, an officer encountered a male, identified as Buen, in the 7600 block of Grand Avenue.

Police arrested Buen on a warrant and for giving a false name.

Police recovered multiple stolen items in Buen’s possession following a search.

Authorities say Buen has an extensive criminal record with convictions of burglary, felony theft, forgery, and possession of stolen property.
