Man Arrested, Charged in Duluth Burglary

A 24-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection to a burglary in Duluth on Monday.

Travis Michael Thompson was charged with first degree burglary.

The charges stem from an incident Monday morning when police responded to a home in the 100 South block of 14th Avenue East on reports of a burglary.

When police arrived, they spoke to the victim who stated she was awoken by noises and there were signs of someone being inside the home.

Police stopped a male, identified as Thompson, walking near the home.

Authorities recovered stolen items in Thompson’s possession.

Thompson was arrested and charged with first degree burglary.
