Suspect Arrested in Duluth Bank Robbery

Authorities have arrested a 45-year-old Duluth man in connection to a bank robbery in Lincoln Park Monday afternoon. 

Derrick Angelo Harper was arrested Wednesday on the 100 East block of Superior Street.  

He is being held at the St. Louis County Jail pending charges of 2nd Degree Aggravated Robbery. 

The charges stem from an incident Monday where Duluth Police responded to the Park State Bank in Lincoln Park on reports of a bank robbery.  

Police say Harper allegedly entered the bank demanding money and implied that he had a weapon, however a weapon was never seen. 

Harper is currently on Federal parole for a separate bank robbery.
